Strong-man Eugene Sandow flexes his muscles and strikes a few poses in front of a black background. This was a short film shot by William K.L. Dickson and produced in Thomas Edison's Black Maria studio.
There are (at least) two Sandow films, first was made for Edison Manufacturing Company in 1894 and this one in 1896 for American Mutoscope Company. In the latter Sandow performs standing back flip and stands further from the camera.
