The death scenes, which are the heart of a slasher film, were mostly uninspired. I found myself thinking of better ways to stage each one.

A solid addition to the series. The premise of having a telekinetic girl go against Jason seems desperate, but it really works in the film's climax. Judging by comments from the director, the film had to be heavily censored and the Paramount execs objected to some of his story ideas. While this is an above average movie for the series, I believe it could have been even better.
