It's always a pleasure to watch Greer Garson. Her pairing with Walter Pidgen is one of the best just like Loy and Powell.

I happened upon this on television, having never heard of it. I thought it was great! Very emotional. Greer Garson was fantastic.
I hadn't heard of the woman on whom this (true) story is based - Edna Gladney - and was very surprised to learn (in the film and in researching after) that the activities she undertook to change history happened in the small town in Texas where all of my distant relatives live. It is a shame that her story is not more known. Look it up!
