There will never be any cartoons that compare to the cartoons of the Merrie Melodies. Too many take themselves too seriously and this particular cartoon just knows hot to have fun and have so much energy in making a cartoon both suitable for kids and adults to enjoy!

Cartoons today definitely do not compare, but I will have to agree with Ogisha… this wasn't the best bugs bunny episode I have ever seen. There are much better ones, although there are some amazing animation techniques used in this short.
