As a general rule of thumb: If "predictable" is all you get out of and can say about a movie, then you probably shouldn't be sharing your opinion on movies. Since you know jackshit. Would anyone ever summarize Citizen Kane as predictable? You could, but it'd also be the dumbest thing ever said about it.

This isn't a twist movie. Scorsese is telling it to you from the very beginning and not trying to hide it. The "twist" isn't the point. The journey to get there is. And the final choice is a great commentary on the character.
It looks like Scorsese had a lot of fun making this movie and I certainly had a lot of fun watching. Dicaprio was fantastic as he almost always is.

One of, if not, Scorsese's best. An unbeatable, multi-layered thriller, with a completely wonderful and believable romantic drama element thrown in for good measure.
Don't take the film on face value; perhaps give it a few views? Whilst the plot may have some issues (it's complexity is both a beauty and a curse), it is the fantastic composition and directing that makes this feel more like entertaining "artwork" than a standard piece of film.
