A psychotic man, troubled by his childhood abuse, loose in NYC, kills young women and takes their scalps as trophies. Will he find the perfect woman in photographer Anna, and end his killing spree?
More artisticly made than most slashers and with some psychological depth as well. Still, at its heart it is a gory slasher with some nasty Tom Savini special effects so anyone looking for a decent genre offering will be satisfied here.
Pretty bad movie, though there are some effective sequences. Why did they think that the relationship between the stunningly beautiful Caroline Munro and the fat, ugly, sweaty, mumbling, mother-fixated maniac would be in any way believable?

He's a maniac. A maniac at the door. And he's killing like he's never killed a whore.
