What a phenomenal surprise! Genuinely terrifying, the way the director builds tension in some of the scenes is masterful. This script understands the importance of well-written characters and narrative elements that work for artists like Hitchcock and Poe, and it turns around some tropes in ways that really elevate the movie.
Watched as the first part of a double feature with Longlegs , and my expectations were set high.
