True. They should have stuck to the myth and made him a rape baby who ends up slaughtering his whole family and dying an agonising death.
One thing that always bugs me about this and many other media involving Greek mythology is they use all the Greek God names but call Hercules by his Roman name instead of the Greek Heracles.
