I'll also add that the movie has some elements that were very obviously inspired by Edgar Wright's style to the point where some have called the movie just a wannabe Cornetto Trilogy entry. However, I'd say it has enough of its own style, unique ideas, fun/interesting characters and crazy moments to stand on its own imo.
