Sharply satirical without being nagging.

It's a very good movie. Sellers acting in this movie is superb and all of the characters are well written. I would say comedy has changed over the years, but i laughed and thought this was funny even tough it is 50 years old!
Kubrick has also some "spesial" skills with the camera, and this movie is a topp class achievement for him!
