I'm Not There (2007)

Six actors portray six personas of music legend Bob Dylan in scenes depicting various stages of his life, chronicling his rise from unknown folksinger to international icon and revealing how Dylan constantly reinvented himself.

[quote=camilact]Cate Blanchett's interpretation really annoyed me, felt like I was watching a movie about a transexual's life.
Yet her performance was the most spot-on. Dylan was very androgynous at that time, so the decision to cast a woman to play him was fairly clever, and she did an amazing job.

Bob Dylan's biopic. A bit confusing. Superb performance by Cate Blanchett.

This isn't for everyone, because you have to not only be a Dylan fan but know a decent bit about his history. If you do, though, it's great.
