Muddled, confused plot and the FBI chick was a complete non-character who shouldn't have been a factor at all.
If the movie had just been Hopkins vs Farrel it would have been more competent. Ted Griffin is an amazing writer who wrote Terriers and Matchstick Men so I have a feeling it was his co-writer who was the unnecessary cook in the kitchen.
