Excellent movie. Great cinematography. Great use of lighting and shadows. And all around great framing with excellent acting. Enjoyed part I and II.

So much overacting. Ruined the whole movie for me.

Incredibly disappointing. The film is a staid historical picture and lacks the creative montage techniques that made Eisenstein's previous films so exhilarating.
