When i first saw this film many months ago in the theatre, i was so glad to experience something fresh on the big screen after seeing numerous comparatively stale and generic films in the weeks beforehand.
A lot of great elements, but honestly this film did nothing for me as a whole.
This movie was great and if you look to the budget of this movie, comparing to the others nominees it have to give a lot of credit to the director, this movie have a very young actress and she is incredible like the story. Hushpuppy: When it all goes quiet behind my eyes, I see everything that made me lying around in invisible pieces.
Hushpuppy: When it all goes quiet behind my eyes, I see everything that made me lying around in invisible pieces. When I look too hard, it goes away. And when it all goes quiet, I see they are right here. I see that I'm a little piece in a big, big universe. And that makes things right. When I die, the scientists of the future, they're gonna find it all. They gonna know, once there was a Hushpuppy, and she live with her daddy in the Bathtub.4/5
