These 30's movies written by Mae West always have some catchy punchlines, but I don't think they are very good movies.

I see the historic value–early Mae West, breakthrough Cary Grant, racy enough to invite censorship–but neither was very funny, and the plot was just a big pile of random.

although the plot is a huge mess, west has a certain charm and her zingers are fairly priceless. the next time someone tells me that "they've heard a lot about me," i'll make sure to tell them "sure, but you can't prove none of it!"
