Please change the title of this to "Happy Feet Two" – the "…in 3D" isn't an official part of the title, and it's an eyesore.

I'm surprised that Happy Feet Two has caught so much flak. It's certainly not as good as the first film, but how many sequels can claim that? The writing was smart and witty, the story ebbed and flowed nicely, the animation was stunning like the first, great characters, and they didn't seem to include musical numbers just for the sake of including them. Everything about the film felt like it had a reason for being there. For those with short attention spans, it might seem to drag on, but I was glad to not have constant break-outs from the story for slapstick that doesn't add anything. This is the way family films should be done. It's just a good film–not a good "kids" film, but simply a good film on its own merits. I will happily watch it again.

While the story is not as sophisticated as the first, it is every bit as visually and audibly stunning. Worth while to watch with your kids or if you love animation
